This blog has become extremely boring lately. I am still getting well over 100 comments a day but 60% to 80% of them are inane and many are just stupid.
Just because someone has an opinion different to yours doesn't justify insulting them personally. We all think that we are sooo intelligent and learned but, apart from a select few people, this has yet to be shown on this blog. If you cannot say something positive think twice about whether it is worth saying. Obviously there are things that we feel need to be said even if they are quite negative. This is sometimes a good thing and maybe an anonymous comment is a good way to let out your frustrations - but first think how you are going to express yourself. Surely it is not necessary to make personal attacks on other people. Don't we learn in chassidus that what we find distasteful in other people is a reflection of our own negative traits??!! Maybe think about that before you make your next comment.

ReplyDeleteSickenned you are sickening.
I am not going to delete the above as you will just repost it.
If you want to promote loshon horo and lies about particular people have the guts and integrity to use your real name. The same applies to all the people who have made the stupid comments in your post above.

Why are comments about shoshana silcove kosher but about Elkman treif?
Maybe Aussie Echo should explain why he apparently supports the Refugee circus being promoted not by the Palestinian Propoganda Minister but by Moshe Elkman!
ReplyDeleteAE,
ReplyDeletei have read a few other blogs from America by Lubav people, and I must say, the level of the comments posted in this blog has been much lower in content than those. I agree, there are too many silly, childish, and mean spirited comments appearing here.
I would hope that we could get back on track with thought provoking, open, respectful discussions of important issues combined with a bit of humour too!
The blog is boring because the blog owner is either unable or unwilling to run it properly.
ReplyDeleteProper is like Mental Blog ;) Whether you agree or not with TA, he is thoughtful and actually leads the discussion. AE does neither.
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of being accussed of being AE's relative, I will defend him, or her, or whoever AE may be. AE is careful to delete loshon hora and offensive comments. The blog administrator can only do so much if the posts are vapid, mean, and inanne.
ReplyDeleteAt least AE is capable of nuanced thinking and of respectfully disgareeing with others, and some of the posters here could learn from his/her example.

just to make your point ae , first one had to go negative.
its just the subject is so charged, its draws on emotions . its hard times in israel and chabad and we all got strong feelings about it.
i was going through the arab media cover of gaza , they can not believe the actual love and tears between the soldiers and settelers.
foucus on that for a while.
my friend taled me about a wonderfull shabat he had in aza ,the last one , lunch with mitnachalim , and shiur tora , and he is an officer .
AE,
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need to moderate more and keep people focuused on the blog subject if you have the time.
In my shul people have been talking about the blog, however it is considered thatthe majority of comments are coming lubocentric fanatics.
There is more to Judaism then Lubavitch or are the majority of yidden wrong?
Why did AE delete a series of coments who felt that Elkman was wrong to fabricate a Jewish Refugee Issue?
ReplyDeleteYes, Tzemach, I am aware of the problems you have, (tartai mashma ;-) )
ReplyDeleteThose are just technical details though. If AE would run his blog half as well as you do, it would be far more interesting.
He needs some vision, some guts, some feelings and emotions, some plan for the future.
Why did AE charge that person, as sick and suddenly worries about Loshon Hora about a person who is spreading to Amnesty etc. Loshon Hora against Eretz Yisrael!
ReplyDeleteAE I am interested in your personal opinion re the activities of Elkman?
ReplyDeleteMendel,
ReplyDeleteIf AE allowed what Mentalblog publishes about the Lubavitcher Rebbe, his immediate family and the Chabad organisation, there would be a riot.Mentalblog gives warts and all.
How often have we seen in Melbourne that the so called Chossids are whisked on a plane within 24 hours after the wife have been brutally beaten up orthe names of supposed
upstanding people who caught STD diseases .Do you really want a blog site like that
NO NO NO. I'm not syaing he needs to copy the content. Just the style.
ReplyDeleteBut children need to grow up.
ReplyDeleteMean while Elkman is sending anti Israel propoganda to Amnesty, The media, politicians etc and AE is protecting him!
ReplyDeleteIs he a RODEF or not?
Where are the Rabbis now?
Why should AE's opinion be important to you, malka? As long as you have a chance to say what you think, as this blog gives you that opportunity, then it should not matter what AE thinks, should it? This is an open forum, and anyone, within reason, can choose to post their thoughts or, not to.
ReplyDeleteWhy are the Rabbonim not pursuing the actions of the Psak if they are claiming they were misrepresented.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they really did support it and putting on a front for the Melbourne Community.
Rabbonim WE ARE WAITING !!!
Shoshana I am concerned that Elkman can send anti Israel propoganda to the media, politicians Amnesty etc. and AE not only deletes critism of Elkmans actions but also fefames those who do not agree with Elkman.
ReplyDeleteThis is not a healthy situation if normal people are reading this blog!
It is a free country, and as much as we do not agree with Elkman, he has the right to free speech just like we do. How can he be stopped? He can't, unless the Rabbis take him to a Din Torah and there is an offical psak against him which he would abide by. The only other avenue would be a civil libel suit, and that would be terrible PR for the Jewish community.
ReplyDeleteshoshana and all the other unproud "Lubavitchers,
ReplyDeletethe Rebbe would never let anyone give away israeli land!!!! go Elkman and oliver
To Rebbe was alive when Israeli land was given away. So we have an exact role model how to behave.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to join the zealots. fanatics, hooligans, millitants go, go ,go but don't call yourself Lubavitch and dirty the good name of the Rebbe.
According ro Rabbi Moshe Gutnick from Sydney it is against the Halacha to pass information as Elkman has to Amnesty, politicians and the media. Regarding if Elkman is a RODEF Rabbi Gutnick answered it is a good question but he can't answer it!
I agree with you, truth said...
ReplyDeleteGo Elkamn and Oliver. Go! The further away the better.
PSAK
ReplyDeleteAccording to Rabbi Moshe Gutnick, Elkman must be stopped if he is spreading information to non Jews like "Israel has created refugees, etc."
I don't know what Mr. Elkman has or has not done but the atrocities commited in Israel against it's own citizens in recent weeks are remarkable - and entirely unheard of in any kind of democracy. I may list them here some time soon.
ReplyDeleteMethinks that too many people in Melbourne simply don't know what really happened here over the past week...
Of course, it is not obvious that AI, etc. will give a damn, anyways...
- Jake in Jerusalem
Whatever was done in Israel is a tragedy, to which sharon will have to answer for. The issue is should we do what the Rebbe wants which is to increase torah and mitzvos and ahavas yisroel or go around causing havoc!
ReplyDeleteAs a chosid of the Rebbe I cannot accept militancy, chillul Hashem and Mesira to the goyim.
Elkman needs a Mashpia. Oliver is Oliver!
What's all the anger with Oliver and Elkman.
ReplyDeleteThe "Psak" was signed by Rabbi Groner. If you don't like it you should accuse him of all that you are accusing them of.
You are right! But Mark Leibler explained that if Rabbi Groner would be healthy he would not of signed!
ReplyDeleteWhat is a Rodef ?
ReplyDeleteSomeone who puts other Jews to danger.
ReplyDeleteSo Elkman is definetly a Rodef
ReplyDeleteWHAT NOW??
Well according to Halacha a Rodef is to be treated in certain ways.
ReplyDeleteBut a Rabbi MUST be consuled. (And not a school teacher)
"You are right! But Mark Leibler explained that if Rabbi Groner would be healthy he would not of signed!"
ReplyDeleteMaybe Leibler can say that but no Lubavitcher can. If he is well enough to run Melbourne Chabad, with all it's problems, then certainly he can still read!
Here is another psak. "Moitzi sfosachoh tishmoir".
ReplyDeleteAnyone observing that one ? Anyone ??????
Chaim dov!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if Rabbi Groner would be well, CHABAD WOULD NOT HAVE ALL ITS PROBLEMS - AS YOU SAY CHABAD HAS!
Zalman are you claiming Rabbi Groner is incapable of doing his job C”V? If that's the case either he should resign or his community should remove him. Neither is happening, so he must still be capable and he therefore was able to understand the p'sak. As far as I am aware, he is far from senile.
ReplyDeleteSo the question remains: why the anger against those activists that got the signatures. If you have complaints, go to the Rov who signed.
What is happening in Israel with taking, or stealing, Jewish land from Jewish settlers and pioneers and surrendering it to Muslim terrorist murderers is a crime against the whole Jewish people and especially against Torah. It sends the message to our murderers that terrorism works and they are being rewarded for it. It gives them more incentive to keep killing us. We are giving non-Jews more than just a foothold in our land that we were rightfully given by Hashem. A non-Jew should not be allowed to own any land in Eretz Yisroel. Do you know that the land that the Knesset is built on is owned by goyim? Unbelievable that that could be. Israel used to be the only democracy in the Middle East. Sharon has turned it into a corrupt dictatorship. I wonder how much he will make from the casino that is going to be built on the land he is giving away. He was good as a general but is a disgrace now and should be considered a traitor. He should be in prison. He should help Jonathan Pollard be released from prison instead of 900 terrorist murderers who are coming back again to kill more Jews. Israel has become a police state with the police and IDF (Israeli Disengagement Forces)following Sharon's unlawful orders. The IDF was formed to protect Jews, not Arabs murderers.Anyone who has been in the military knows not to obey an unlawful order. Sharon has lost the plot. I hate to say it, but the Germans in WWII also said they were only following orders, and look what happened. Everyone in the IDF should have stood up and refused to carry out Sharon's orders, as they were against Jews and the security of Israel and Torah. He is the prime minister of Israel, but Hashem is the King. Sharon has gone against the King and he will have his judgement day. In any other country he would have been thrown out of the government long ago. His infamy will go down in history. Where is the peace he has helped bring? The Arab terrorists are all laughing at the weak retreating Jews now and this is their victory and they say the beginning of the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people that they have been working on for all these centuries. They are dancing with joy in the streets as they publicly announce their further plans to attack us without stopping until we are all destroyed. This is Sharon's plan for peace and end to terrorism. Sharon needs a white cane and a seeing-eye dog.
ReplyDeleteLet's say Leibler is right and Rabbi Groner is senile but what about the other 32 who signed! They can't all be senile?
ReplyDeleteIsn't it time to change the topic here? It's becoming monotonous.
ReplyDeleteThe Arabs do not need to (challila) destroy Israel, all they need is to watch the fanatical orange hooligans do it for them.
ReplyDeleteNever in our long history have there been such Jew haters who have the chutzpah to wear a kippah.
Orange madman are worse than Arabs.
The Rebbe held of Sharon and valued his opinion, as can be seen from the Rebbes letter. The Rebbe said that the army needs Sharon who was respected by the Rebbe.
ReplyDeleteSo anonymous with all your hatred you are spitting in the face of the Rebbe.
Let's not talk even about how the REBBE hated fanatics and always insisted on DARKEI NOAM!
AE why are you demeaning your own blog by calling it boring?
ReplyDeleteSome of the postings of the past day or two have been the funniest I have ever seen on any blog. Depite the gravity of the situation and all the rechilos and loshen horo at least we haven't lost a sense of humour.
IF YOU THINK THAT THE COMMENTS POSTED ON THIS BLOG REPRESENT THE OPINIONS OR FEELINGS OF THE MAINSTREAM MELBOURNE CHABAD COMMUNITY, PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THIS BLOG IS A HAVEN FOR A NUMBER OF WELL KNOWN CHABAD HATERS WHO POSE AS DISGRUNTLED CHABADNIKS AND PRETEND THEY ARE GENUINELY UPSET ABOUT THINGS IN THE CHABAD COMMUNITY, MEANWHILE GAINING THE OPPORTUNITY TO BASHMUTZ THE NAME OF CHABAD.
TO A NORMAL MAINSTREAM CHABADNIK HERE IN MELBOURNE, THIS BLOG IS A STUPID JOKE.
To stupid joke!
ReplyDeleteIf you have information that this blog is mainly written by chabad haters from outside our community please share that information with us.
I am not yet convinced. I suspect your comments could be fabricated to keep peoplke quiet as the PTB would like.
If you prove me wrong I will apologize.
I HAVE A COUSIN IN ADASS YESHIVAH KETANAH, HE SAYS AT LEAST FIVE OF HIS FRIENDS FREQUENTLY POST ON THIS SITE USING MULTIPLE NAMES
ReplyDeleteI agree that this blog is boring.
ReplyDeleteHere are the exciting ones:
jewishwhistleblower.blogspot.com
hassidicrebel.blogspot.com
hassid.blogspot.com
theshaigetz.blogspot.com
confusadox.blogspot.com
there are about 500 of these types of websites out there. I agree with aussie echo, our site is boring! We are so busy with stupid issues such as Oliver & Elkman we are missing the good stuff!!!
(maybe our community aint so bad after all!)
Hello, my name is 771. Since i am one higher than 770, I know everything!
ReplyDeleteMalka asked, what is a RODEF ? I think it means "chase", like a game of chasing kids round the playground. But I am asking, what is a MALKA? Its a Queen!
So RODEF MALKA, is a chaste Queen! Her sister's name is MELAVE MALKA. What does "Melave" mean? Sounds like "Me'love'her", her sister loves her! (except on Sat.night)
RODEF RODEF is actually a boy chasing a girl called Rodef. If he loves her and marries her, she changes her maiden name to "MELAVE", the loved one.
RODEF RODEF RODEF means you have a "chazaka",you were seen chaste 3 times, because you are a strong runner, you can chase anything, like the rat race, you will win the Olympic race and your medal will be presented by the Queen Malka!
Any more questions, just ask 771. The answers will surprise you!
TO A NORMAL MAINSTREAM CHABADNIK HERE IN MELBOURNE, THIS BLOG IS A STUPID JOKE.
ReplyDeletePlease define what is a 'NORMAL MAINSTREAM CHABADNIK".
771, you may be higher than 770 but only in inches or centimeters your knowlwdge is still at ground level. Please wait till Purim for your Purim Toirois. What a nong!
ReplyDeleteA rodef is a Jew who is pursuing another Jew with the intent to murder him. Al pi halacha,it is permissible to murder the rodef before he murders.
ReplyDeleteIt is an exaggeration to call either Moshe Elkman or Y. Oilver a rodef. They are politcal morons but, they are not intent on murdering other Jews, at least I do not think they are.
to stupid kjoke!
ReplyDeleteI have just spoken to a friend who has a son in the Adass Yeshiva.
You seem to be a liar as anyone caught in the Adass Yeshiva that has acess to the internet is instasntly dismissed.
I have been told that it is not realistic to believe that boys use the internet and if one would they would tell no one to avoid being thrown out.
My friend (who does not have the internet) says I should check the times on the postings as the boys have little spare time. I will do that to confirm if stupid joke should be called stupid dirty liar!
PLEASE UNDERSTAND STUPID KJOKE.
ReplyDeletehE IS VERY EMBARASSED (AS MOST ARE) HOW ANASH ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE WAY WE HAVE LEFT THE DERECH OF THE REBBE.
THE EASIEST WAY TO HANDLE THIS IS TO FABRICATE THAT THE PROBLEMS ARE NOT REAL BUT DREAMT UP BY OUTSIDE PEOPLE. ADASS BOYS OR FOOTBALL PLAYERS. THIS LIE NEEDS TO BE MADE TO CLEAR HIS CONSCIENCE!
bto stupid joke, my son is a student in Adass and I can attest to the fact that neither him nor any of his classmates, all of high school age, are reading this blog or have any interest in it. They have heard of it but it is not something they would koch in.
ReplyDeleteThey are not technological neanderthals. They learn computer in school, and some of them have computers at home. Their parents may use internet primarily for business, but I frequently get emails from some of my Adass acquaintances. I would not say that none of the kids use the internet, that would be a gross exaggeration, but their use of the net is extremely limited to the occassional email (clean jokes) under the close watch of their parents. None of the boys in my son's class are allowed to or have the chance to surf the net without strict guidance or control.
I think people are getting confused with a rodef and a mosser. A rodof is out to kill someone. Elkman obviously doesn't fit that description. A mosser is someone who tells on jews to non-Jews. Thedre he could be considered guitly given his mailing lkist and the things he is mailing aroubd. Punishment for both is in certain circumstances the same though...
ReplyDeleteDo not totally disregard the fact that there may be kids at Adass getting Internet Access at their Grandparents place. There is no rule to say the Adass Grandparents cannot have TVs and Internet.
ReplyDeleteI am a medical laboratory scientist and I swab premises for different diseases. There is an establishemnt in Horne St Elsterwick where one would never expect to find Chareidi men.I was horrified and shocked.
ber:
ReplyDeleteYour logic is stupid.
Because they would get into trouble for it does not mean that at least some Adass kids are not on the net. Kids in other schools get expelled for being on drugs but that does not stop them - kids of all backgrounds are naturally inquisitive and if they have access I am sure at least some of them are on it.
I am therefore quite sure that there are kids in Adass who are also on the net in the same way as there are TVs amongst them as well. This idea of a utopian society existing in Adass (or anywhere else for that matter) is propoganda or simply naive wishful thinking - at least until Moshiach comes.
I would like to know what is a 'normal mainstream Lubavitcher"?
ReplyDeleteIs it a person who screams "Yechi Adenaienu...." during davening and while making bruchas, before drinking the wine after making kiddush, before toiveling in the mikvah, etc.?
Is it a person who only screams 'Yechi Adenanu while in c crowd?
Is it a person who only says Yechi under thier breath?
Is it a person who never says Yechi but is a 'cardiac YECHNIK'
(believes in their heart)?
Is it a person who believes the Rebbe is alive b'gashmias?
is it a person who believes the Rebbe is alive only b'ruchnias?
Is it a person who knows the Rebbe is Moshiach and that he is here?
Is it a person who thinks maybe the Rebbe could be Moshiach but isn't sure?
Is it a person who does nto believe the Rebbe is Moshiach?
Is it a person who only learns the Rebbe's sichos and nothing else?
Is it a person who only says chitas but doesn't learn anything else?
Just what is a "normal mainstream Lubavitcher" anyway?
Do we all have to be the same cookie cutter conformists to fit into the 'normal mainstream of Lubavitch?
Since when was Lubavitch ever concerned about being mainstream anyway? Weren't we always the trailblazers?
To realist! You don't live up to your name. Quite probably some Adass kids might touch the internet, but would all the children tell each other as Mr Stupid Joke claims?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it just as this scientist wickedly claims to have seen chareidi men in an establishment in Horne street.
To bad mouth whole communities is the greatest sin. Worse than not keeping shabbos!
Which chareidi man would enter an establishment in ELSTERNWIK from all areas.
It's time to make Teshuvah, and find some Ahavas Yisroel.
The typical Melbourne Lubavitcher drives a four wheel drive and has a fancy house in Caulfield. His wife wears tight clothes and short skirts. He has a beard and a kapata. He only davens with a minyan on Shabes and YT. They have a TV and go to movies with the kids and think it is alright. They will go to mixed parties. They will go to mixed beaches if they think no other Jews will see them. They want the kids to get VCE and grow up to be rich businessmen or doctors or lawyers but not shluchim. If the kids date or hang out and party they are not worried because they think this is only a normal stage. The typical Lubavitchers of Melbourne think all this is normal and mainstream.
ReplyDeleteTo Realist
ReplyDeleteYou claim that Bers logic is stupid. Maybe at least he is honest. What about you. A scientist should have higher standards. How many Chareidi men did you see at Horne street? Did they see each other? Where they all recognisable?
YOU ARE A PATHETIC ANTI SEMITE.
I am sickened by Yosel Gutnick's comments in the Jewish News. The Rebbe's shaliach for Israel is a dissapointment. There is a long list of respected Zionist groups who have real legitimate disagreements with this petition and all Yosel can manage as an answer to them is that the Australian Jewish community is 'small minded.' He shows compelete smugness and contempt for all of us with this belittling of an entire community of good Jews who care about Israel. I guess he is above it all!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it time that Yosel Gutnick ate a nice big portion of kosher humble pie?
You might be right, but Yosel crossed out some words from the psak before he signed it. What chutzpa has a young idiot (who calls himself a Rabbi and collegue of Rabbi Groner) got to ignore the changes Yosel made. Yosel has lost alot of credibilty (as chabad has) for signing a militant document which in fact was an Oliver fraud!
ReplyDeleteLost credibilty for signing.
ReplyDeleteAlso lost credibility for how they reacted when the scandal came out.
Their biggest concern is saving their own skins--to heck with Chabad, or the community!
RECEIVED FROM Elkman!
ReplyDeleteDear Friends,
Th effects of the Churban are just beginning....
#SO NOT ONLY HOLOCAUST BUT ALSO CHURBAN!
Join together as "ONE" despite our political views and see this "human refugee" catastrophe unfolding...
#$450,000 US per family and this MOSERER sent this email to Amnesty, Howard, Bush, UN and the Media!
even though it is hard not blame Sharon as he is just a puppet a chess pawn of Hashem's
#So if it is now Hashems fault why do you call Sharon a Nazi?
.....we need to bring Yidden closer to Yiddishkeit
#WELL YOU ARE ACHIEVING THE OPPOSITE
those who follow the Lubavitcher Rebbe need to increase in "miftsoyim"
#YOU GO TO BETH HATALMUD AND NOW ARE PREACHING TO US!
I have said it continually even though I am not a Lubavitcher the Rebbe is The Leader of the Generation and while other "Leaders" remainded quiet although at the last moment many did come out with a public outcry the Lubavitcher Rebbe has been my guide, strength and inspiration throughout this struggle
# THANK YOU FOR YOUE ENDORSEMENT
I would advise the followers of the Rebbe not to be shy and timid but to come out strongly and follow the Rebbe's Leadership because unfortunately Leadership is and has been lacking........
#SO YOU WILL BE OUR NEW LEADER BESIDES BECOMING THE NEW PM OF ISRAEL
And what does Moshe Elkman know about the Rebbe's leadership? What a pompous fool! He is a complete know-nothing! What chutzpah to use the Rebbe's name for his follies and for Elkman's Chilul Hashem! His ego is out of control. He is basking in the glory of the attention he is getting. Maybe if we ignore him he will go away?
ReplyDeleteShifra,
ReplyDeletePeople are scared to believe and call others wicked as a defencive mechanism.Man has not changed over thousands of years, Read Bereishis regarding Yehuda.
You think Elsternwick is different to CH/BP.You have a short memory regarding the Pupa Rebbe Gabbai incident.I say no more as real people know the truth.
Nu, lets get down to tachlis.
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean Rabbi Oliver will not be the new principal at YC ?
A fanatic is an autocrat and cannot tolerate any dissent. Although his belief system may have some truth to it, the fanatic's perspective and ideology is riddled with contradictions. The fanatic remains in deep denial about these inconsistencies, and when they are pointed out to him, he will react with either extreme defensivenes or rage against his critics.
ReplyDeleteIn the case of a religious fanatic, his belief is that his cause has been blessed or even commanded by Hashem. He is on a holy crusade. Therefore, in the fanatical mind, those who go against his doctrine are going against G-d, or in Moshe's case, or in the case of certain extreme Moshichists', they are going against the Rebbe too.
The fanatic's techniques include using highly emotionally and sensationalistic language in a repetitive manner. The repitition reinforces their beliefs. The fanatics's minds have suppressed all powers of critical analysis through this repitition, and they become fixated and obsessed with certain precepts and assumptions. Discussion or argument with a fanatic is an excercise in futility until their minds have been deprogrammed from all this repetative reinforcement.
The fanatic is dissassociated from reality and often times has a dleuded self image that he is unique and chosen. While the entire society around him, or his closest relatives and friends, tell him that he is mistaken, he refuses, because of his self delusion, to accept any perceptions but his own as being the correct ones.
Anonymous if you believe some scientist saw "charedim" at a brothel you are sick. Brothels do noit use scientists. People don't go to a brothel in a jewish neighbourhood. People don't dress as chareidim going to such places! People don't sit around at a brothel as at a farbrengen.
ReplyDeleteYou are a tipish, and a nasty one at that!
This kind of talk is not for a chosid of the Rebbe.
SHAME ON YOU!
Religious fanaticism destroys spirituality. Nothing is less spiritual than a rigid doctrine that separates the world into those chosen holy ones and those who are somehow less worthy. Relgious fanaticsim is unforgiving and relentlessly judgmental against those who who do not believe as they do.
ReplyDeleteCountless times have we heard Moshichistin say that those who are not in their ideological camp cannt be a chosid of the Rebbe. And now we hear the local orange fanatics deem all their critics as somehow lacking in loyalty to EY.
Fanaticism erodes the beautiful ruchnias of our religion.
ShTusim,
ReplyDeleteI will give you some facts.
Establishment like these have
spa baths and scientists go in to test the spa baths for fungus called Candida Albicans
which is also known as thrush.
Next time you see a jewish taxi driver, ask one if they have ever taken bochrim to these establishments.
this blog is not very appealing to females and I apologise, however it is about time the community faces the truth what goes on and realise not all the apples are healthy. No community is immune.
anonymous! If you work in a brothel I have to accept your word!
ReplyDeleteBut not as a scientist, as brothels don't employ scientists. I do not believe YG bochurim go to such places. Why specially JEWISH taxi drivers. And do you also check out the taxis to get your malicious fabricated information.
I won't keep you up as you might need to go to work, ENJOY!
Scientist work different kind of hours then people who meet clients at brothels do!
PS.I always was told that the people who work at brothels are not very nice people, but I never imagined them to be this terrible!!
To Shtusim!
ReplyDeleteIt is not worth answering such disgusting filthy people as anonymous.
A Jewish "scientist" walks into an establishment in the neighbourhood and meets other jews and hears from jewish taxi drivers about bochurim visiting these establishments. I wonder what this holy scientist did after meeting chareidim and fixing the spas??
I never realised people can have such foul mouthes and stoop so low.
WE WANT MOSHIACH NOW.
To sick scientist please come to my place to check my spa for thrush!
ReplyDeleteAfter that please check our mikvah!
The chareidim were also checking the establishment for chometz!
Yiu might think we are crazy, but the only crazy one is you.
We should be proud of our YG bochurim and anyone like anonymous who spreads such filth will burn in hell.
AMEN
tO ANONYMOUS. aSK YOUR MASHPIA ABOUT THE STORY OF yEHUDA, AS YOU ARE AN APIKORAS AS WELL AS A NASTY LOWLIFE!
ReplyDeleteAnyone read in Smais about shortage of Rabbis in US Army because they do not allow beards
ReplyDeleteShoshanah, Can you please intiate another topic for discussion here ? You seem to be the eloquent one, and I like the way you express your ideas. All this talk about brothels swabs etc etc.. not nice .. really not nice. There are non lubavitchers here, probably from adass or who are disgruntled bitter individuals, who are crowding this blog pretending to be lubabs but are besmirching everything that we hold dear.Let's redirect.
ReplyDeleteOn this blog you are making outrageous statements blaming Kollel Beit Hatalmud,Adass, Non Lubavitchers,Elkman,Oliver, Groners .
ReplyDeleteDo you not have any positive and constructive ideas to discuss. For weeks there were issues with YCBR.what have you bloggers done ?
I previously wrote that someone should ring Don Wolf and talk to him regarding the PTB and have a communal meeting.
has this happened? Of course not as you are all getting embroiled with Elkman and Co and forgotten the real issues affecting the Melbourne mosdos.
Let us get back on track as use this as forum to strengthen Chabad
I wish to sincerely apologise to all those who were upset by my blog comments.I do not deny what I stated but unfortunately I have hurt some friends in our community who were innocent victims.
ReplyDeleteThis is the last blog I will make as it is a dangerous tool
(mad) Scientist sad I do not deny......This comment is as disgraceful as the previous. So you will not make any more comments using "studip joke" but will use another name! Please contain your hatred and stop throwing dirt on any jewish group, be it chareidim, bochurim , modern orthodox or whatever.
ReplyDeleteYou are a disgrace, if you deny that as a scientist you saw any clients at a brothel or not, you are very sick.
I think you blog is a good read. Not boring in anyway, but get some pictures will you. Pretty ones don't hurt.
ReplyDeleteMaybe pictures of the mad scientist working night shift with her chareidi clients!

ReplyDeleteSharon against the haters from Tel Aviv
By Shahar Ilan
In an interview with the ultra-Orthodox weekly Mishpaha, the prime minister delivered a stinging attack against Tel Avivans who went to the beach and sat around in restaurants and cafes instead of empathizing with the pain of the settlers whom he removed from their homes.
One of the conclusions drawn by the extreme rightist camp from the struggle against the disengagement is that it should establish an alliance with the ultra-Orthodox, who supported the settlers and identified with their struggle but did not come to their demonstrations. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has tried to steal their thunder and set out to vigorously court ultra-Orthodox public opinion. Last Thursday, he invited the editor of Mishpaha, Avraham Rosenthal, and his deputy, Yossi Elituv, for a long interview. Sharon, like his rival Benjamin Netanyahu, knows that the way to the hearts of the ultra-Orthodox passes through excoriation of the secular-liberal left, those that Shas likes to call the "sushi eaters from Sheinkin Street." In the interview that will be published today in Mishpaha, Sharon lashed out harshly against the Tel Avivans who dared to detach themselves from the suffering of the people he removed from their homes, calling them "masterminds of hatred."
"I heard today that Tel Aviv's beaches were filled to capacity with bathers," the prime minister said at the very moment the evacuation of Neveh Dekalim and Kfar Darom was being completed. "I would imagine that one would be hard pressed to find an empty place this evening in a Tel Aviv restaurant. In these difficult times, I would expect more solidarity from various parts of the nation. But you know, the talented and unique Jews also know how to hate. We have masterminds of hatred here. I would definitely like to see more understanding and empathy on the part of different sectors of the nation for the pain of the evacuees."
Sowers of fear
Sharon told the ultra-Orthodox journalists that in advance of the implementation of the disengagement, "a lot of rabbis sat on the other side of this desk, and I tried to accede to their various requests, as much as possible, of course."
Anyone inclined is free to think - on their own responsibility - that the requests Sharon was talking about dealt only with the future of Gush Katif and the evacuated settlements, rather than with the future of the rabbis and the jobs that would be found for them. According to Sharon: "I refused to meet with very who asked to meet me, mostly those who maligned and vilified me during the day and asked to meet with me in the evening. I'm sure you would agree that that is not acceptable."
Regarding the diplomatic process, Sharon said, "The Americans have often asked us to sketch out the boundaries of the large settlement blocs in Judea and Samaria, and we have refrained from doing so in the hope that by the time the discussion on the settlement blocs comes, one day, these blocs will contain a very large number of settlements and residents."
The ultra-Orthodox have a particular interest in settlement blocs because they include the two fastest growing ultra-Orthodox cities, Modi'in Illit (Kiryat Sefer) and Beitar Illit. Sharon pledged: "The ultra-Orthodox cities will be included in the large blocs. Can you imagine that cities like Beitar Illit and Modi'in Illit would not be included in those settlement blocs? But why put the cart before the horse? The stage of discussion of the blocs is still very far off."
Sharon preferred not to mention Netanyahu by name, but spoke in general terms of those who "sow terror." "The sowers of terror, those that act out of personal interests, are threatening us that the Palestinians will shell Ashkelon, shell Ashdod," he said. "If someone wants to be elected prime minister, he immediately launches a series of threats. Perhaps the time has come to stop frightening this nation! All day long, they intimidate. Simply put, the time has come to stop frightening people," he said.
The grandfather of the minorities
One of the numerous forms used by the Interior Ministry's Population Registry is called, "A request to receive an identity card or identity card slip." The applicant is asked to fill in certain details, such as the name of their father and mother, the particulars of their spouse and children and even the name of their grandfather. In fact, not everyone is required to fill in the name of a grandfather. In the square for "name of grandfather," the instructions say "for minorities."
MK Roman Bronfman (Meretz-Yahad) appealed this week to Interior Minister Ophir Pines-Paz, saying that this is severe discrimination that cannot be tolerated in a democracy. He demanded that Pines-Paz act to amend this form and any other form that contains discriminatory nationality-based elements.
The head of the population registry, Sasi Katzir, said, "When filling in personal details, we ask for any detail that can facilitate the identification of the individual. In this case, in which there are many people with identical names in one extended family, the name of the grandfather makes possible precise attribute the individual to the right family and prevents possible unpleasantness." Katzir said, "In the Arab sector, the noting of the grandfather's name is accepted practice, and makes it easier to locate the relevant individual. The ministry has no intention of offending anyone by asking for these details."
Bronfman certainly accepts the need to ask members of the minority to list their grandfather's name. However, he does not understand why Jews are not also asked for this detail. He notes that he found 33 people named Nissim Cohen and 271 named Yitzhak Cohenin the Jerusalem telephone book. "It is reasonable to assume that some of their father's have the same name too." In a letter to Pines-Paz, he recommends that "all the applicants be required to provide the names of their grandparents, and in so doing, the ministry of the interior will stop discriminating on the basis of race and the term `minorities' be removed from official state forms."
The spokeswoman for the Population Registry said, "Any attempt to assert that there is discrimination is unfounded and represents a distortion of the facts."

ReplyDeleteI HAVE A COUSIN IN ADASS YESHIVAH KETANAH, HE SAYS AT LEAST FIVE OF HIS FRIENDS FREQUENTLY POST ON THIS SITE USING MULTIPLE NAMES
>>
Nonsense, your cousin is understating the facts. There are at least 100 boys from Adass who post here frequently. maybe even 200.
After all, they are so bored having all that spare time when they are not in class learning or davvening - between 10 pm and 5.45 am.
They gotta do something..

ReplyDeleteWhat's all the anger with Oliver and Elkman.
The "Psak" was signed by Rabbi Groner. If you don't like it you should accuse him of all that you are accusing them of.

ReplyDeletebto stupid joke, my son is a student in Adass and I can attest to the fact that neither him nor any of his classmates, all of high school age, are reading this blog or have any interest in it... None of the boys in my son's class are allowed to or have the chance to surf the net without strict guidance or control.

PLEEEEZ Shoshana, why mess up a good lashan hara and sheker with the facts????

Hey, Mr seeing...
I was one of the charedi men there at that time.
Sure, you were swabbing, like I was learning chittas...

ReplyDeleteI am therefore quite sure that there are kids in Adass who are also on the net in the same way as there are TVs amongst them as well. This idea of a utopian society existing in Adass (or anywhere else for that matter) is propoganda or simply naive wishful thinking - at least until Moshiach comes.

You forgot to mention the adass avos ubanim program, where the charedi fathers take their sons to horne street to watch scientist swabbing the mikva there...

ReplyDeleteI am sickened by Yosel Gutnick's comments in the Jewish News.
Isn't it time that Yosel Gutnick ate a nice big portion of kosher humble pie?
yes, sadly but very true, the melbourne community, (or at least 'fact of life' and several other morons on this side) are very very narrow minded. do you have any idea what is going on in new york? melbourne is mild compared to here
and its good to see that there are a few people who are not intimidated by others, have the courage to come out open with the truth, and are not narrow minded like other australians.
ReplyDeletegutnick and groner get full credit for standing up and protesting
I was at Horne street last night and the mad scientist is 100% honest. They even have a Daf HaYomi shiur there, as well as chalav Yisrael!
ReplyDeleteThe scientist isn't as bad as some think. I reccomend it to the few who haven't been there. Friday night it is a special mitzvah to go there. They also have zemirot!

ReplyDeleteDo you know what is going on in Melbourne? No you don't but you speak out out your know-it-all attitude as if you do.
I have never laughed so much! This is gorgeous, it should have waited till Purim.
ReplyDeleteA brothel in a frum neighborhood, full of chareidim, with a frum scientist running around with swabs looking for thrush.

Do you know what is going on in Melbourne? No you don't but you speak out out your know-it-all attitude as if you do.
but from reading your 'open minded' comments.... just shows your mentality level.
(kepisgom hayodua mai'haMagid, chochom ma hu...oimer.)
You give no reasons what you disagree with and why.
ReplyDeleteAll you have said is that I am close minded and that would assume you are open minded. But what do you think about this situation? Or do you have nothing to say except for insults?
That's what Yosel did. He insulted the whole of Melbourne with a smear. Smearing someone is not proving any point or making a good argument.
If you open your mind too much your brains might fall out!
Yosel must have meant people with the mentality of your scientist!
ReplyDeleteHaving big bank accounts does not mean one has a big mind too.
ReplyDeleteand when I was last in Hirne strett, i saw somre amazing kiruv work being done there.
ReplyDeletethere seem to be no shortage of volunteers for mivtzaim there.
(no doubt our mad scientist was putting tefilin on the non-charedi customers)
Before criticising Rabbi Groner or Yossel Gutnick, or anyone else quoted, one should ascertain if they did indeed say those words prontged in their name. Our local jewish News is most infamouus for wrong quotes, misquotes and outright fabrication by amateur reporters. (Even letters ostensibly penned by the signatory are often heabily edited.)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the old joke told by Dzigan (of Dzigan and Shumacher fame one of the early Jewish comedian teams of the sixties.) He claims he bought a newspaper in Israel. He was charged 45 agarot. When he complained to the vendor that it says "price 35 agarot" on the top of the paper the vendor replied "Naar -do you believe everything it says in the papers?"
hehehe.
ReplyDeleteAE there's the first of your Erev Shabbos jokes for this week.
