Although he has been serving as Rav of K’hal Tzemach Tzemach Lubavitch of Monsey for a year or more last night, 24 Teves, Rabbi Lesches was officially "installed" as it's Rov. At an evening attended by over 250 people and addressed by mazkir Rabbi Leibl Groner, Rabbi Lesches was presented with a beautifully framed Ksav Rabbonus.
Rabbi Lesches and family lived in Sydney for well over 20 years before they made the trek to Monsey, New York. He was a popular and respected teacher and Rosh Yeshivah in Sydney. Two of his sons now live in Melbourne - one a teacher at Yeshivah College and the other a magid shiur at Yeshivah Gedolah.
